baby wearing...

The professor took this picture of a BIG wolf spider on our side walk this morning. See the dots on her back... look closely...SPIDERLINGS!! Isn't that gross? and sweet in a creepy sorta way... oh... the joys of baby wearing. Thank you wolf spider for your sweet example of motherhood. Just wondering, does it help to have 8 eyes and hands?

  1. my one baby-growth is plenty. Can you imagine having that many clingers?

  2. that gives me the creeps. At least it was on the sidewalk outside and not walking across your kitchen floor. I don't think I've ever seen a spider do that before. What a sweet little mom...sorta.

  3. Ha Ha...great post. I love the pictures, they're so National Geopgraphic-ish! Eight hands and eyes would be nice.

  6. We caught one of those one time when my oldest was in Kindergarten for a science project. We had no idea those were babies on its back until we got it in the container and a few fell off. I screamed, Brent laughed, and my daughter said, "Awwww." when she realized they were babies. She thought it was cute and sweet. I think your description is better....creepy-sweet.

And yes, I'm glad I don't have to carry all my children around on my back all the time. One at a time is much more manageable.
