  1. The bookcase-way cute. Seriously, the green is SO fun. Do you think it'd ever get tipped over if anyone tried to reach/climb up top to get something? I don't know, I just pictured Leah being a monkey:).

Can't wait to hear what you decide. Nice to chat with you today! XOXO.

  2. Green is awesome, especially when paired with purple. Go for it.

  3. Had a friend in high school who went through a glass table, he nearly died. As a result I steer clear of glass where possible. But maybe that's just me being overcautious. The shelves look great, and I agree green/purple is a great combo!

  5. We anchor bookshelves to the wall with simple L-shaped brackets (we have a climber, though he is growing out of it). Reminds me of a very cool politician I know here who wrote an autobiography called "Climbing the Bookshelves" - I love the title, she says she grew up in a house with bookshelves everywhere and her dad encouraged her to climb the bookshelves to explore all of the books (probably more sturdy than the ones we have). I like the image. She became a real path breaker for women in politics in the UK...IKEA rocks...

  6. LOVE the advice/wisdom on having people over & entertaining! Although I don't think I realized people clean more than just those areas... ?! :-)
