i LOVE Texas weather.

it's cold here today.
Last night i cooked the BEST chicken and dumpling soup in the WHOLE world.
easy and SO GOOD.
especially with a thick piece of homemade bread... and a quilt on your lap... and snow out your window.
mmm. i just ate the last of it for breakfast.
drew said, "mom, snow isn't as fun as i remember it."
i laughed.
and i TOTALLY agree.
give me 75 degree weather the end of January any day!
i LOVE Texas.
and, since it only snows once every two years or so, i guess i'm ok with the snow.
we did get a snow day yesterday!!

It looks like you are busy getting things ready to sell. That makes me sad. We missed you at playgroup today. I agree that Tx weather is a little crazy.
i hate seeing that sign on your yard. but i am happy for you too. you are moving on! that top picture of ellie isn't her best- but i can tell that they are laughing and enjoying the crazy cold. :)
Yeah, we've been wishing and hoping for snow and now that we have some we also have some frozen pipes and a frozen garage door (now repaired) that I backed into this morning because I thought it had opened all the way. Fun times. You just never know what the weather will be like around here, right? We know that you have to go so we hope the house sells quickly for you.
