I'm eating more and feeling a bit better.
My sweet husband was laying near me last night. He said, "it really is a shame your stomach scar will be removed in the resurrection. I love it. It always reminds me how much God loves you."
Who says those kind of things about nasty belly scars?
He loves me. I adore him.
Even though I don't feel good, my life is very good.
I'm so grateful.

I think the same thing about Stephen's chest scar from his open heart surgery. Almost losing people that we love sure brings A LOT of emotions out! The emotions were always there, they were just brought to another level.
Glad you are feeling better. You have been in my prayers!
Who knows? Jesus is resurrected and has scars... I hope you keep having better days.
Todd is so right!! I just finished reading “Heaven is Here” by Stephanie Nielsen, the blogger who was burned after the plane she was riding in crashed. She talked about meeting with Elder Holland. He told her, “We look for Christ’s scars because they are evidence of what He did for us. They’ll be the first thing He shows us when we see Him again. Your scars tell a story, too. Although they may not make you feel attractive, they are a witness of a miracle, that God blessed you to live, and that you have accomplished many difficult things.” What a beautiful thing!
